Northampton
Wines collects personal information submitted by our customers
in person, or electronically on this web site. Information collected
is submitted on a voluntary basis. Personal information may include
name, title, company, address, phone number, and your e-mail address.
Credit card information is collected for the purpose of processing
orders, or securing reservations, and is retained only long enough
to complete those transactions. The individual information we
collect is used only by Northampton Wines to process orders, which
have been placed by our customers, or to provide the information
you have requested about our products, sales, tastings, special
events, tours, and other services. We do not sell, rent, or transmit
personal information, to other organizations, or third parties,
except to your credit card company when processing your orders.
Because
Northampton Wines considers the individual information we maintain
to be confidential, our policy is to disclose no personal information
to any third parties unless release is required by law or is pertinent
to judicial or government investigations or proceedings. We do
provide all information obtained in cases of credit card fraud
or other criminal activity, to the appropriate local, state and
federal law enforcement agencies.
While
we may in the future, we do not currently use involuntary information
gathering techniques known as "cookies". If at some
point we do decide to use "cookies" we will clearly
state the type of information collected and the purpose for its
collection.
HOW
TO BE REMOVED
Northampton
Wines will remove any and all personal information from our files,
data bases, mailing list or other records upon your request. You
may make this request simply by replying to any of our emails
with your instructions. If receiving regular postal mail only,
a note or phone call will be sufficient.
